Mobile Home Roof Repair & Replacement
We service mobile homes on the entire West Coast of Florida.
A well-maintained and reliable roof is essential for mobile homes due to their unique construction. Mobile homes are typically built with lightweight materials, making them more susceptible to wear and tear from the elements. A good roof not only protects the interior of the home from moisture, but it also helps maintain the structural integrity of the entire structure. Over time, exposure to rain, wind, and UV rays can weaken the materials used in manufactured homes, potentially leading to leaks, damage, and costly repairs. Investing in a quality roof ensures the longevity and stability of the home, safeguarding your investment for years to come.
Mobile homes often face challenges related to insulation and energy efficiency. A well-insulated and properly ventilated roof can significantly improve energy efficiency and indoor comfort. A good roof helps regulate the temperature inside the home, reducing the need for excessive heating or cooling. This not only leads to cost savings on utility bills but also creates a more comfortable living environment year-round. Whether it’s the sweltering heat of summer or the biting cold of winter, a reliable roof plays a crucial role in maintaining a consistent and comfortable indoor climate.
Do I need a new roof?
Mobile homes are a valuable investment, and they often house cherished belongings and beloved family members. A good roof serves as the first line of defense against weather-related damage that can harm both your possessions and your health. A leaky or damaged roof can lead to water intrusion, which can result in mold growth, compromised indoor air quality, and damage to furniture, electronics, and personal belongings. Moreover, a deteriorating roof can lead to structural issues that pose safety risks. To protect your home, belongings, and the well-being of your family, ensuring a dependable roof is of utmost importance for mobile homes.

Select The Right Material
TPO
TPO, or Thermoplastic Polyolefin, is a type of single-ply roofing membrane commonly used on mobile homes. It is known for its durability, energy efficiency, and ease of installation. TPO roofing membranes are typically white or light-colored to reflect sunlight, reducing cooling costs in warm climates. At Freedom Roofing Division, we recommend TPO for most mobile homes.
Shingle
Shingles for mobile home roofs are specially designed asphalt or metal roofing materials that offer durability and weather resistance. These shingles are lightweight and easy to install, making them ideal for mobile homes. They come in various styles and colors to complement the aesthetic of the mobile home while providing protection against rain, wind, and other elements.
Metal
Metal roofing for mobile homes is a durable and lightweight roofing option that offers excellent protection against weather elements. It is easy to install and maintain, making it a popular choice for mobile home owners seeking long-lasting roofing solutions.
Why Choose TPO Roofing for Your Mobile Home?
Energy Efficiency (Superior Reflectivity)
TPO reflects UV rays and reduces cooling costs. Ideal for hot climates like Florida. Shingles absorb heat, while metal reflects some heat but may still retain warmth.
Seamless & Leak-Resistant
TPO sheets are heat-welded, creating watertight seams. Shingles have overlaps prone to leaks. Metal seams and fasteners can loosen over time.
Lightweight & Ideal for Mobile Homes
TPO is ultra-lightweight, minimizing stress on mobile home structures. Shingles are heavier, and metal is light but heavier than TPO.
Cost-Effective Over Time
Lower maintenance and energy savings make TPO more affordable in the long run than shingles or metal.
Low Maintenance
TPO’s smooth surface resists dirt and algae. Shingles can crack and grow moss. Metal can rust or loosen.
Flexible & Durable
TPO resists punctures, UV, and handles mobile home movement well. Shingles can crack; metal can dent.
